Starved Rock Lodge, Great Hall West
Saturday and Sunday, January 28-29, 2023
11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Illinois Birds of Prey presented by the Illinois Raptor Center
An hour-long program featuring live birds of prey and their natural history. No admission fee, however a free ticket is required to attend these programs on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are available starting at 8am in Great Hall West

All programs are first-come, first-served seating. Program seating will be limited.
9:30 a.m. Starved Rock Saplings Story Time for Children (The Bald Eagle)
24 people maximum. Program is indoors then outdoors.
10 a.m. Guided Hike – 1 hour, 0.6 mile roundtrip guided eagle viewing and educational hike to Starved Rock.
20 people per hike (3 hikes to Starved Rock)
11 a.m. Birds of Prey Show presented by Northern Illinois Raptor Rebab Education
On hour, live, birds of prey show.
80 people maximum (indoor)
1 p.m. Guided Hike – 1 hour, 0.6 mile roundtrip guided eagle viewing and educational hike to Starved Rock.

2 p.m. Birds of Prey Show presented by Northern Illinois Raptor Rebab Education

9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Eagle Watching
Starved Rock Audubon Society members will have viewing scopes and answers to your eagle questions.
9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Native American Dancing and Drumming Demonstration throughout day in Main Lobby.
10 a.m. Illinois Birds of Prey Research
Dr. Travis Wilcoxen will discuss his bald eagle research. Live Illinois Raptor Center birds of prey will be attending.

11 a.m. Photographing Raptors and Wildlife – Tips for Amazing Wildlife Photos
Presented by David Anderson.
