Colombia is famous among birders for having the highest species list of any country in the world—more than 1850 species! This trip serves as a great introduction to the birds of the Colombian Andes, foothills, and subtropical forests. This region is at the heart of hummingbird and tanager diversity and home to many Colombian endemics and characteristic birds of the South American mountains: antpittas, toucans, euphonias, parrots, manakins, foliage-gleaners, and so much more! We should easily see 300+ species all while staying at comfortable lodges with great birding right outside your door.
This trip is being offered through Red Hill Birding. Trip leader will be Adam Sell along with a local guide.
