Birdsong Chapter

Birdsong ChapterBirdsong Chapter focuses on fulfilling the mission of Illinois Audubon Society: to promote the perpetuation and appreciation of native plants and animals and the habitats that support them. The impetus for chapter formation in 2012 was the acquisition of the 302-acre Amboy Marsh Nature Preserve. A second acquisition in 2016, the 395-acre Gremel Wildlife Sanctuary: A Legacy Project of the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation further energizes the chapter in restoring, managing and preserving natural areas for the benefit of native flora and fauna.

And as Dr. Seuss told us:
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.

Join Birdsong Chapter as we save the world – an acre at a time!
