Fort Dearborn Chapter

Fort Dearborn Chapter was organized on February 12, 1973, to give the Illinois Audubon Society a chapter in the heart of Chicago. We sponsor bird walks on Tuesday and Sunday mornings in April, May, September and October in and around Lincoln Park Zoo and ponds. Monthly field trips, usually on Saturdays, to birding areas in the Chicagoland area and the Midwest are also offered.

Meetings with presentations on birding or environmental related programs are held at 7:30 p.m., on the second Monday of each month, September through June, at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive, in Lincoln Park, Chicago, Illinois.

All meetings and bird walks are open to the public.
