Take a guided hike into the preserve in search of saw-whet, Eastern screech, barred, and great-horned owls with Dr. Steve Hager, Professor in Biology-Augustana College. We may also see flying squirrels, hear coyotes and observe other nocturnal residents.

Dress for the weather and expect to walk about 1.5 miles in the darkness. The outdoor portion of the trip will last approximately 2 hours.  Light refreshments and warm beverages will await participants at the end of the hike.

Pre-trip Zoom Meeting.  A short pre-trip zoom meet-up with trip leaders and related experts will be scheduled the week of the event. More details regarding this and other information necessary for the trip will be emailed to registrants.
