Plovers and More (Wait-Listed)

Join the Ward Family on a quest for golden plovers, Smith’s and Lapland longspurs and a variety of shorebirds on the eastern side of Illinois. The field trip will begin in Champaign where attendees will meet then board a van for the journey.  Pat and Dr. Mike will be our leaders. Along the way, participants will have a chance to learn about the Golden Plover Project in which Illinois Audubon Society is a partner.

Trip Leaders: Pat and Mike Ward

Cost of trip includes snacks, water and  van transportation from the Natural History Survey on the University of Illinois Campus.  Participants will purchase lunch on their own.
