On April 10, 2022, the Illinois Audubon Society will turn 125 years old.
Join us for a year-long tribute of Illinois’ oldest conservation organization and our accomplishments over the past 125 years.
125 in Nature—
Get Out and Get Going
Help celebrate Illinois Audubon Society’s 125th anniversary by participating in our new 125 in Nature challenge. Everyone can earn points for prizes throughout the entire year of celebration.
We’ve pulled together a fun list of activities designed to get you out and involved in nature. You’ll find some activities are part of your normal routine, such as taking a nature hike or reading a book on nature. Easy points! Other activities will stretch your involvement in conservation activities, such as attending an organized bird hike or organized stewardship workday or enhancing your property for birds and pollinators.
Tales from the Archives
Featuring excerpts of history from The Audubon Bulletin, Illinois Audubon magazine, and various other sources of documentation from our first 125 years.
Guest readers will give you a glimpse of the world of conservation, bird watching and society issues written by members and sometimes, well-know names in the world of bird conservation and ornithology.
